I can not correct the title. It is wrong. (The dogs bark "wau wau", the cats sound "meo meo", what sound does the mouse makes ?) I want to change the title to the other sentence : The dogs bark "wau wau", the cats sound "meo meo", what sound do the mouses make ?

Per your request Thanks, I hope you NOTICE a minor detail but rather significant difference of the question form vs the normal statement verb usage. "What sound DOES the mouse make?" is entirely accurate; the "make" plays a role of an infinitive verb without the particle "to" and thereby remains unchanged. Remember a question consists of an auxiliary verb (a to-be verb inverted specifically to form a question) with a subject and a main verb (infinitive form). Once the auxiliary verb has been inverted, do not worry about verb tenses with the remaining verb because it will always remain in the infinitive form with/without the particle. "What sound DO the mouses make?" is correct too. Can you see the reasoning now? I hope it will clarify your understanding a bit more. Good luck !

Oh Thanks I wasn't able to change the Title for you because someone else already did before I got to it. Perhaps he/she wanted to remain anonymous.
