ESE Fund Raising
Woo hoo...Here's where we can have fun while building up the fund for this wonderful ESE scholarship.
Please post your idea(s) of how we can raise money for a fund that would effect a friend, an education, a future, a life.
Anh LuaViet had suggested one (or more) karaoke day(s) or night(s). For example, if someone requests anh LuaViet to sing a song for $10 and he obliges. That person would send the money toward the fund of the ESE scholarship.
I have an idea also. I have a recording of someone... singing. Now, I might put it on auction. If that particular someone fails to bid high enough to claim his/her own recording, then I just might sell it to the highest bidder and play that song for the next 30 minutes...
We can do poem readings, poem writing, games, tongue twisters, etc. We could even set up team to play against each other to raise money. How do you see any of our activities be used to raise money for the scholarship? How creative can you get? Let's have some fun.
Here's my first offer. A personal 1-on-1 tutor session with me on pronunciation : $10 for 30 minutes.
