    Default Riddle - dDô´vui có vui °_°

Riddle is simply defined as a test in which your ability to think independently and logically will be tested . Let´s go with the first one in order to know more about yourselves. Don´t forget that the first to post the correct solution will be given a little award (phần thưởng là gì vậy ???? Bí mật quốc gia, chưa thể tiết lộ )

Here is the riddle of this week:

A Vietnamese farmer had a square-shaped land on which he built 4 kitchens ( in red) and 4 wells ( in green) for his 4 kids like in the picture.

One day, he fell seriously ill. Before dying, he needed to divide his land into 4 parts on the following conditions:

    1. They are in the same form and area.

    2. Each part contains a kitch and a well.

    3. The borders between the parts must not be curved lines.

in order that his kids could remain in hamory with each other.

All the villagers tried to help him to look up to the last wish but in vain. Then he passed away in trouble.

If you had lived in his village, could you have helped him? and if yes, then how ( best elaborated in picture) ?

( notice: the distance from the corner at the bottom of the land to the first kitchen / well is as long as that from the fourth to the intersection of the two diagonal and is half as long as that from the first to the second, that from the second to the third, as well as that from the third to the fourth)

On the behalf of the farmer, Thank you so much.

The four kitchens(red dots) and four wells(green dots) are not equal in size So it's quite impossible to divide the land in a way that

    1) It will be in the same form and area (since some red dots are obviously bigger than some green dots and vice versa).

However way we divide it, it will be unjust, therefore, concluding this riddle is unsolvable.

Regardless of how we divide the land, greed will take over and these kids will wonder "Why didn't I get the bigger kitchen and/or well?!!!!!"

    Now, where's my thuong~ ?? hahahahahah

Give me a couple more days to damage my brain w/ this riddle.

    Hi gdpt-,

let me laborate on your questions step by step

    1. It is totally possible to divide the land in the way the father had suggested. It was just impossible because the villagers had yet to know how to do that . All the built kitchen are in the same size, form, material ... and all the digged wells are also alike. ( if that be an error making one look dfferent from others, then it is my bad drawing )

    2. So after the land has been divided intelligently and patiently enough, there is no difference between the parts. No matter which part one of his kids picks out, they feel all fairly and reasonablly just

    3. It is not time for us to give Thu*o*?ng to you  We hope to see the first to raise her ( first lady) / his ( last ..) idea soon

    4. Because there is no deadline, that means the time you take to solve is unlimited ( sướng nhé), don´t worry about it. But also don´t forget to take your time off.

Hehehehehe... cái này dễ muh... I would divide the land into 64 equal square parcels (by drawing lines straight down and straight across)... From there, divide them into 4 parts, each consists of 16 equal parcels, and each of the 4 will have one kitchen and one well... And since they are all in "square parcel of land form", the 4 children will have no objections... They will all have equal amount of land (16 squares each)... Hmmm... if I can draw in here, it will be easier to explain...

Waiting to claim my prize... hahaha...
