Followings is the meeting recap for 08/17/2009.
- Through the votes of the ESE Scholarship panel, we have narrowed down to 21 finalists. Names of finalists are withheld until the verification process is completed. All names will be released when the interview process starts.
- We will be starting the verification process.
- The verification process will be of 2 parts running parallel:
1) Cô Khoai and Cô DieuNhac will lead the effort of getting more information from our finalists through emails and phone calls. Schools will be contacted. In 1 week, we should have a better idea of what is involved and how long this process will be.
2) Jenna and I will inquire the helps from our ESE Ops in VietNam. We will build teams that will be able to perform further verifications when needed. We will be meeting with ESE Ops in VietNam to discuss details.
- We will organize our email account ese_scholarship@yahoo.com to be better responsive to inquiries as well as addressing concerns. A filing system is in place to keep information more organized.
- We will organize our ESE Scholarship sub-forum to better keep track of the progress of our finalists' verification process.
- Cô DieuNhac will be in touch with her contact in VietNam to set up available equipments provided places for the interview process.
* At this time, we have a need for ESE Ops in VietNam who have the means to visit Cần Thơ and Đà Nẵng. Please contact me if you are in Cần Thơ/Đà Nẵng or have the means to be there. We need your help in the verification process. Thank you.
