That's right. If you reside in Vietnam and would like to donate, you will need to convert the amount you want to donate from VietNam Dong to US Dollar prior to sending the donation through PayPal. I am not sure how the banking system in VietNam works so I cannot tell you specifically what to do through the banking system to send the money to us. Anyhow, I don't think that's too hard to convert VietNam Dong into US Dollar at the present, and I know there are other means to send the money to us through "Dich. Vu." but I'd rather not going there just yet. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but that's all we can do for now.

Thanks,

Hi QDK,

The sum amount will be given out in US Dollar. The reason we cannot accept any money in VND because we really want to avoid the confusion of converting the currency and the lack of a trusted personnel in VietNam to handle the money for us. I know it is something to consider about but as of right now I don't think we can yet make it work. Thanks for your suggestion though.

QDK,
We are thinking about it as you're not the only one mentioned the issue. We are trying to come up with a method where we can accept donations in VN through a trustee. The money then can be transfered to our treasurer, cô IP. We are learning the proper way to handle this. So, don't spend it all on ice creams, bro QDK. :)
