OUR MISSION

The mission of English Sharing Experience is to encourage further education, inspire an appreciation for the English language, and cultivate its effective use in creative expression and day-to-day life.

OUR OBJECTIVES

To achieve the mission, our objectives include:

· Establishing a free learning and communicating environment on Paltalk and on our website,
· Recruiting and providing volunteer, English sufficient personnel to share their experiences and assist Vietnamese students in reading, writing, and speaking English, and
· Creating and maintaining a scholarship program to assist bright but financially challenged university students in Vietnam.

OUR OPERATIONS

English Sharing Experience (ESE) was founded in 2005 by a group of young Vietnamese in Vietnam and abroad. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. Our staffs consist of over 40 volunteers who operate online English classes on Paltalk, which include English reading, pronunciation, and conversation classes. In addition, we provide materials and assistance for English reading and writing in our forum at tienganh.net. Our instructors and operators include English-speaking Vietnamese and foreigners from all over the world.

Our services are free and opened to public. Our English classes and our forum are tightly moderated by our instructors and operators. We abide by our strict Code of Conducts to provide a healthy learning environment for students of all ages, and without political or religious interferences.

Besides providing English learning opportunities, we also operate a scholarship program, namely ESE Scholarship, to assist bright but financially challenged university students in Vietnam. ESE Scholarship was formed in 2008. It is governed by a scholarship panel, which, as of 2010, consists of eleven (11) members of various specialties and backgrounds. The program is funded through contributions of our members and friends. Including academic year 2010-2011, we expect to award up to sixty-four (64) university students in Vietnam to help pay for a one year tuition and fees.

We believe that by reaching out and offering a helping hand, we have provided a chance to those who will create opportunities for others in the future. We welcome you to our English learning community. We hope one day, you will join us extending our hands to help others.
