LESSON 1: ADVERBS
Read the story and circle all the adverbs. Then underline the verbs they modify. It would be best to print out the lesson and practice.
The Smiths finally made a family photo album. Sue and her mother slowly looked through the box of old photos. They carefully chose which ones to use.
Mrs. Smith gently lifted the plastic on each page and placed the pictures carefully into the album. Sue wrote neatly below each picture. The two worked happily for days. They thoroughly enjoyed this project. When they were finished, Sue and her mom proudly showed the album to their family.
