Chào các anh chị,
Em dang học English tại Truong London, cuoi tháng này cô giáo bắt bọn em phải tóm tắt lại 8 câu chuyện cổ tích cho thiếu nhi, mấy ngày nay em bù đầu kể lại..bằng tiếng anh, khó quá. Cô giáo nói không được sai 1 chi tiết nhỏ nào, cả về ngữ pháp lẫn câu từ, vì bài này cho người nước ngoài đọc. Em lo quá. Anh chị nào giỏi Tiếng Anh xem có phần nào cần chỉnh sửa thì giúp em với nhé. SNOW WHITE
A long time ago, a queen gave birth to a beautiful girl called Snow white. Sadly the queen died when Snow white was small .Lately, the king took another queen, a beautiful woman but naughty.
She had a magic mirror. Everyday she stood in front of it and asked: “mirror, tell me, who is the fairest of them all?’ “You are, my queen” replied the mirror. She was contented.
As the time passed on, Snow white grew more beautiful, and a handsome prince who riding pass the palace saw her and immediately felt in love with her.
One day when the queen asked the usual question “Mirror, tell me, who is the fairest of them all? You are fair; my queen, but now the fairest is Snow White” replied the mirror. The queen grew angrily. She did not want to see snow white any longer. She ordered the huntsman to take her into the forest and killed her.
The very next day, the huntsman led snow white to the forest and cried out just to kill her. When he saw snow white looking at his eyes, he knew that he could not kill her. Instead he told her to run away and never to return.
Snow white ran far in the woods until she was too tired to take another steps; she saw a little cottage and stopped to rest. Inside the cottage everything was tiny but tidy. There were seven little plates, seven folks, seven knives and seven cups on the table. There were seven little beds in the row. Hungry and thirsty she found food and water then went to sleep.
The seven dwarfs were the owners of this cottage, every day they went to the mountain to search diamonds and returned home at night. Surprisingly to see Snow white was sleeping in their beds. They sat beside her and waited until she woke up and told them about her story. They all very suffered and agreed to let her stay with them. In return she did the housework everyday.
One day Happy that Snow white was dead, the queen went to the magic mirror and asked ““Mirror, tell me, who is the fairest of them all? You are fair; my queen, but the fairest now is snow white” replied the magic mirror. The queen could not believe it, but how many times she asked the answered was the same. She learned that the Huntsman did not kill snow white. She drove mad.
She searched snow white everywhere until she found a little cottage in the forest, disguised as an old lady she knocked softly on the door saying “fresh fruits” Snow white did not recognized her stepmother and shot the fruits was very nice. She opened the door. Seeing ripe apples she could not resist but the apples were full of poison and snow white felt down. The queen laughed and ran from the forest. When the dwarfs returned they were upset to see snow white dead on the floor. They laid her on the glass coffin and sat with her night and day.
But some one else was looking for Snow white. It was handsome prince who has fallen in love with her .When the prince found her in the glass coffin he could not believe she was dead that he bent to kiss her. As he did she slowly opened her eyes and the prince leaves her in his arms. A big wedding would soon be held.
For the queen, When the King learned what she had done he drove her out of his Kingdom never allowed to return.
