Who is your favorite actor or actress and why?
Who is my favorite actor and actress? I don't know. I can't narrow down to one. I have many. Too many. And I've idolized them all, but they may not be popular.

Most of us favor famous people. Handsome Bear likes Meryl Streep, John Wayne, or Clint Eastwood. ThanksForTeachingMe loves Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers. Miss Snow probably adores Audrey Helburn in Sabrina. Miss Dieu Nhac may hang pictures of Humphrey Bogart posing as Rick Blaine of Casablanca in her living room.

And I can imagine Mr. HcVcT’s bedroom walls with posters and posters of China Beach's characters. There are also a few from Baywatch on the ceiling as well.

But I'm an odd ball. My favorite actors or actresses are not very famous. However, they are the best on what they’ve intended to be.

I don’t even know their real names, but I know by heart their screen names. Some have one or two. Some have dozens.

I have never seen their faces, but I can imagine them with my incurable imagination. And I can imagine their smiles.

Yes. You may have guessed it: They are the faceless and the nameless people from ESE on Paltalk. They are great actors and actresses, and they are my favorites.

But I can’t tell you why they are my favorites!

I don’t know why I’m obsessed with them. Never has it been in my life that I've spent so much time communicating with people whom I have never known or will never ever know.

If I had roommates, they would never understand why I’ve kept sitting in front of my computer with an earphone, and smiled to the screen while typing like crazy on my keyboard. If I turned on my speakers, they must have felt weird seeing me working or reading a book, while listening to someone talking with a unique accent or singing those strange Vietnamese songs with their tunes scattered all over the places. And once in a blue moon when I spoke, they must be wondering why I spoke so slowly with every syllable pronounced and stresses emphasized.

And I don’t know why I’ve done that either. So I can’t tell you why!

he he he... Well, actually I have never seen China Beach so I don't know who's in it, and I don't think I have ever sit through an episode of Baywatch.

My favorite actresses are Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron. Personally, I think they're exceptionally pretty... in the most classy way. As actresses, they are among the best. There're flicks that were so intense ... to the point that I saw past the actings and started to actually believe the characters.

I feel sometimes Meryl Streep "over-acts" ... I never cared for John Wayne as I think he's too fictitious. I do like Clint Eastwood... and Charles Bronson...

My favorite actors are Robert Di Nero and Al Pacino. Again, these men are great actors... They don't just "act" ... more often, it seems like they actually "live" the characters.

When I watch an actor or an actress in action, more than the voice, the tone in the voice, the expression, the posture, the attitude, ..., etc. ... I watch their eyes... There is nothing more expressive than the looks in the eyes. It is almost scary when you look into an actor/actress's eyes and "see" the character that he/she is portraying...

As I am faceless and nameless, bro Bear can imagine my face and my smile ... even my bể-fê laugh... but can you conjure up my eyes? There, you can see my soul ... my real "character" ... me !!!
