These are great conversation questions.

What was the last book you read?

The last book I read was The Christmas Box, by Paul Richard Evans. It's one of the author's famous, heartwarming stories. I'm currently reading, "The Reader" by Bernhard Schlink and I highly recommend it. Although I've only read up to chapter 14 so far, it's so irresistibly captivating that I can't wait to go home to finish the rest of the book.

Do you like to cook?

Do I? Anything that is food related is to my liking! I can't say I'm a good cook, but I DO love cooking from scratch.

What's your favorite food?

Anything, everything edible. Okay, maybe not everything. But one of my favorite pastime snacks is fresh broccoli/celery with buttermilk ranch. *drools majorly* Oh, and I love home-made ham sandwiches. Basically, you buy wheat bread, lettuce, tomatoes, and ham. Slightly toast the bread, add ham, add lettuce, add another layer of ham, add another layer of lettuce, add another layer of ham, add tomatoes, add another layer of ham, add two more layers of lettuce, spread the bread with mayonnaise ... and VOILA! You've prepared my favorite ham sandwich!

Are you married or single?

I am single ... but not by choice. :[

Do you have brothers and sisters?

I have one older brother and three older sisters. I am very family-oriented.

Do you like baseball?

I like playing baseball ... but I play horribly. I LOVE watching baseball at an actual ballpark ... but not on television. I like batting ... but gets tired after a few minutes.

Have you ever lived in another country?

I've dreamed of living in another country, does that count? I've dreamed of living in a country that no one has ever heard of, and adopting GDPTism (newly-founded religion)

How do you spend your free time?

I spend my free time wisely ... that's how I spend it. Har har. Not funny? Okay, moving on. Well, I'm a fan of 3D puzzles. Sometimes, when I have a whole day off, I would spend it working on 3D puzzles. I also love to sing. I am not vocally gifted ... so I sing to myself often. One time, I was on the computer, singing my heart out to "Killing Me Softly," and my friend walked in on me. Oh boy, I blushed bright red! Yeah, she wanted to see what the screechy noise was. It was just ... me.

How long have you been studying English?

I've been studying English for as long as I can remember.

How old are you?

I am old enough to do whatever I want, except retire, and young enough to play sports without hurting my back.

How tall are you?

I am a shorty.

What two things could you not do when you were.....?

I couldn't speak Viet fluently when I was in middle school ... but look at me now. Yes! Look at me now. Fluent and proud.

What kind of people do you like?

I like liars. I like to be lied to. I like to be complimented when I shouldn't be. For example, when I sing a song, I like to be complimented ... even though I know the limitation of my singing ability. Whenever I am seen in public, I would like someone to come up to me and say, "Why are you so ddie^.u." Why? Because that implies that I look nice ... or tries to look nice! Haha, or does it? Even when I didn't get a haircut, I would like someone to ask that question because it would imply that there is something different about me ... whether it be negative or positive.

What languages do you speak?

I can speak English, Tieng Viet, Espanol, and a bit of Cantonese.

What's something you do well?

I am very good at being courteous.

Which sports do you like?

I used to hate badminton and used to think it was for sissies (sorry, Bryan)! Key term: USED TO. Now, it's one of the sports that I actually enjoy.

Why did you decide to take this course?

What course!

Would you like to be famous?

I would like to be rich without being famous. I would like to be a millionaire and remain anonymous. I think being famous completely deprives you of your privacy. I would like to be rich ... but just rich enough to eat all the food I can and want ... and rich enough to own a house overlooking the beach and sunset.

What do you think you will be doing five years from now?

I will be succesful, doing what I love most.

What is your goal in life?

To be succesful with a loving husband and three kids.
