Help me...! The difference between "degree" & "Certificate"

Có ai có thể chỉ cho mình biết sự khác nhau giữa degree và certificate không? Dễ nhầm lẫn quá, thật sự thì mình không biết phải phân biệt như thế nào nữa!! Thank to anybody helping me (if I have any mistakes in my post, please correct it, thanks!)

In short, a degree takes longer to complete. An Associates Degree, for example, takes two years as a full-time student. A Certificate usually takes, at most, a year. Another difference is the amount of classes required. Usually, certificates only require you to take classes pertaining to the program. For example, if you want a certificate in computer programming, you'd only need to take classes that's computer-related. Whereas, if you were to seek for a Degree in Computer Programming, you'd have to take English, Math, History, etc. Certificates tell your employer that you have the essential skills and training needed for that job. However, a Degree tells your employer that you not only have the necessary skills required for that job, you also have the basic knowledge on other subjects.

Nói ngấn gọn thì a Degree cần nhiều thời gian để lấy được so với a Certificate. An Associates Degree thường là cần hai năm để lấy và Certificates thì thường chỉ cần một năm hoặc ít hơn. Một khác biệc nữa là những lớp cần lấy. Với a Certificate thì mình chỉ cần lấy những lớp liên quan đến cái môn thôi. Thí dụ, nếu mình muốn lấy Certificate in lập trình vi tính, thì mình chỉ cần lấy những lớp nói về vi tính thôi. Còn khi mình lấy cái Degree thì mình không những phải lấy những lớp đó, mình còn phải lấy những lớp cần thiếc, như là lớp toán, lớp Anh Ngữ, và vân vân. Certificates nói với người mướn bạn rằng bạn đã có những rèn luyện cơ bản cần thiệc cho việc làm đó. Và Degree thì nói là bạn không những có những có những cái đó, mà bạn còn biết sơ sơ về nhiều vấn đề khác.
