A guest visited Susan and asked Susan

How many children do you have ?

Susan answered : I have three children

and a guest asked her ? : How old are they ?

Susan said :

The product of their ages is equal to 36 and the sum of their ages is equal to the number of the house next door

The guest went out and looked for the number of the house next door; she got puzzled, and she asked Susan : Did you forget to tell me something ?

Susan replied : Oh yes, : My oldest child is playing at the park

So How old are Susan's children?

The Number 36 has the 6 following combinations combined by 3 numbers :

C1: P=1x1x36, S=38.

C2: P=2x2x9, S=13.

C3: P=2x3x6, S=11.

C4: P=3x3x4, S=10.

C5: P=1x6x6, S=13.

C6: P=1x2x18 S=21.

(C=Case, P=Product, S=Sum)

The guest got fuzzled because of C2 and C5 with the same sum 13.

Because she has the oldest child, not the oldest children, => C2.

So her children´s age is 2, 2, 9 respectively.

Thank Luvenglish so much for the riddle above :D, Riddle is one of the good ways to refresh the mind each time it is tired and stressful :(. By the way, Ci have also one for you to entertain yourselves.

Here is the riddle::roll:

There was a restaurant newly opened in the town, therefore the owner had an attractive offer to all the customers. In particular, each time they gave back the restaurant three empty bottles of beer, they would be offered one new for free.

One customer bought 6 bottles of beer and finished off. And then he wanted to enjoy the offer the restaurant gave.

 The question is how many bottles of beer ( Maximum, including the bottles from buying and ones from offer) he could drink that day?

On assumption that he could drink much beer ( for example up to 25 bottles)

Have a nice time.

P/S: please send me your answer per PM on ESE by 10 O´lock (cali time) on Monday 27. August . There are three small gifts for the three first (of course correct) answers from Ci
