I am 29 years old. I have small chinky eyes, long hair and I have to admit that I am quite chubby looking. I wear casual clothes because I like to feel comfortable when I work. I am a data entry personnel, and I spend most of my working hours looking at the computer screen. My job is all right for now, but I always like to have a little more challenge in my work sometimes. My favorite hobbies are reading and listening to music. I can learn various subjects from reading. I listen to music to relax, especially when I am tired from work. I live in a countryside area that is close to the big city, but yet a very nice and quiet neighborhood. I like living here because I don't have to drive too far if I want to have some Vietnamese food. I don't like living here sometimes because I have to drive a long way to work, and the gasoline is killing my little paycheck. :(

iP--you have awesome "VOICE" in your writing! I couldn't help but laugh at your "chinky eyes". :) Love your choice of words! Below is the first revision--I only made some minor changes. :)

I am living in Vietnam and I am very proud of it. I am 28 years old, 1.8 m tall, 80 kgs weight. (is this too fat...I think so :-P). I am a chemical engineer. I can tell you why I decided to study about chemistry. When I was a child, My father told me that all of creatures in this world originated from organic compounds. This very strange for me. I told myself that I would explain clearly my father's saying in the future. After graduating school, I passed the exam and had right to study in university. I did not hesitate when choosing chemistry department to learn. I had opportunities to meet with welknown chemist, had chances to read foreign documents, besides, with the helps from internet resourses, I could understand clearly about essence of things. I am a forty years old and I have brown eyes and short hair. I wear pants and long sleeves shirts whenever going out with my friend’s girlfriend. But I always wear suite when going to ESE class. I am a full-time student and work part time. I don't like my current job because I cannot use all of my capability. I enjoy workout. But I haven’t gone to the gym for a year for being so busy with school and work. I used to workout three times a week with one and a half hour each time. I live in the North of California, in a city where there are a lot of different ethnic groups such as Vietnamese, Mexican, Chinese, and African etc. I enjoy living here because I can find all different kinds of food such as Chinese food or Vietnamese food (Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Bun rieu, Banh canh) or Mexican food (Burrito) etc.

Many years ago a man from Texas was sent to Viet Nam during the war.

The man fell in love with Vietnam and the Vietnamese people in spite of the war.

After he came home he often thought of Viet Nam and dreamed of the wonderful people he had met. He volunteered to learn Vietnamese because he wanted to know the people and the country better.

He was able to return to Viet Nam and there he was able to use the language and meet many wonderful people. He read Vietnamese poetry and listened to Vietnamese songs. Despite his limitations in the language he read all of the famous classic "Kim Van Kieu."

Vietnamese food seemed to be made just to his taste. He loved it because of the wonderful flavors and interesting textures. He especially liked the tangy taste of nuoc mam with peppers, lime and cilantro.

He returned to Texas with his mind filled with images of morning markets, green fields of rice, and sweeping vistas of wide rivers and compact villages. He cherished his memories of an lovely country and its ancient and beautiful culture filled with beautiful literature and art.

The man rarely had an opportunity to hear the lovely melody of Vietnamese speech once he left Viet Nam, so over the years the language he had learned slowly faded from his mind like mist disappearing in the morning sun.

But the images in his mind remained as fesh and vibrant as the day they were made and he never lost his love for the Vietnamese people.

I wear work casual clothings because I like to be comfortable when I am working. I am a janitor and a security guard for room ESE in Paltalk. I do it all the times because I enjoy bouncing bad people. I also like to golf when I am not here watching the ESE room because it teaches me patience. I live in the state of Pennsylvania of the United States, but my second home seems to be room ESE in Paltalk. Please don't ask me how the weather is, as it is always sunny and beautiful in room ESE. People in here are my second family. I enjoy "living" here as I have a chance to help people by keeping the place clean for everyone to enjoy and share.

I came to Canada when I was only a small little girl with my mother, 2 brothers, and 3 bigger sisters. I also have 2 more older sisters and 1 older brother still living in Vietnam. The reason is because they were over the age limit allowed. My oldest sister and her husband provided us support financially to be able to move here to Canada.

Leaving behind Vietnam and travelling to a new place across the world was both exciting and scary for me and my family. We didn't know what to expect of the new country and people living in it. I was the youngest in all of the children that my mother has. In the first few years of living here in Canada, my mother didn't like it very much. She found that it was too quiet and cold here in Canada. She enjoyed the hot and mild climate in the place that we used to live.

When I first started school in Canada, I felt so left out and stupid. I couldn't understand anything that the teacher and my friends was talking about except for a few of my Vietnamese friends. At home, my sister usually make me sit down and learn English with her for 1 hour everynight in my first few years of school. Sometime.. I was so frustrated with myself and my sister. Learning English wasn't easy.. I know that first hand. Gradually the hard work done by my teacher and my sister to teach me English was paying off. I was able to read, write and speak English. The first book I read by myself was called " The Little Bear ".

The other thing I enjoyed here in Canada was the food. There were soo many varieties of food to choose from when you go to restaurants and other places to eat. The thing I liked the most was Mac Donald, especially the fries and the delicious mouth watering Big Mac. I order that every time we go to the fast food place ( I did not know that it wasn't good if you eat it too much ). I'm a food lover.. what can I say hehe. I was able to enjoyed Chinese food, Italian food, Mexcian food, and a lot more then I could if I was still living in Vietnam. The new flavours and texture of the food was totally different from the Vietnamese food that my mother cook. I totally loved it. I ate so much of the fast food, I got so chubby. My mother wasn't very happy.

As the years progress, my family become more and more comtable with the city that we are living in. I learned to adored the snowflakes during the winter season. When I first experience winter during my first year in Canada. I hated it, it was so cold. But now I think Its so white and beautiful like a white sparkling blanket. My mother and sister was able to visit Vietnam every year, together sometime. I wanted to also go too, but my mother said that I have to be over 18 to go. I was disappointed and sad. I vowed to finish high school and university as quick as I can so I can visit my sweet sweet home in Vietnam. I hope everyone still remember me there by the time I visit.
